Half-term outline:

  • Week 1 (10th September 2026): Rhythm & Pitch pt.1 (time values, bars and metre, time signatures, treble/bass clefs, minims/crotchets/quavers)

  • Week 2 (17th September 2026): Rhythm & Pitch pt.2 (semiquavers, grouping notes, rests, accidentals, semitones/tones)

  • Week 3 (24th September 2026): Rhythm pt.3 & Scales (Ties, dotted notes, grouping dotted notes, scales of C/G/D/F majors, scale degrees)

  • Week 4 (1st October 2026): Keys & Intervals (keys of C/G/D/F majors and their signatures, interval basics)

  • Week 5 (8th October 2026): Tonic Triads & Terms/Signs (tonic triads of C/G/D/F majors)

  • Week 6 (15th October 2026): Wrap-up & Practice paper
